Welcome to our B.O.C. blog. Learn about the world of handcrafted ceramic beads, buttons, pendants & components from our talented and knowledgeable Artisans.

Last month I wrote about making your own paper clay, so this month I thought I would show you some finished products.  These are actually Christmas ornaments, but made slightly smaller could be pendants. If you missed the "how to" check it out here  http://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=4469792236996064066#editor/target=post;postID=8437742941792661520

More ornaments. These are hollow inside . We made balls of newspaper taped together before wrapping the paper clay around. Much faster than cutting and hollowing out the ball. Don't forget your air hole though :) or ca-boom !

For those of you interested in My African project, I just got a video made of how we got started.

  1. These paper beads are wonderful. So cool that they are lightweight too!! Thanks for the great follow up to your previous post.

  2. So Fantastic!!! They are beautiful! Thanks for sharing your finished results!

  3. Thanks everyone. No not majolica, just under glaze and transparent glaze

  4. Beautiful work! Love it and so unique.
